Council is seeking to appoint 2 x Casual Theatre Technicians to contribute to Council’s success.
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service whilst providing effective and efficient technical, operations and maintenance support and advice to venue hirers and theatre management, in order to deliver quality productions for hirers and patrons, organisations and residents of the Gladstone region.
About You
Your success in the role will be demonstrated through your ability to provide a creative perspective, be agile and recognise that the community is the core of our business.
Demonstrated high level of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, to engage with a diverse client base.
Problem-solving skills to effectively address technical matters prior to escalating to the Supervisor.
Previous relevant experience working in a Theatre or Convention Centre or demonstrable skills operating lighting, sound and audiovisual equipment for stage productions.
Must be eligible and willing to obtain a positive notice Working with Children Blue Card on appointment.
Legally able to drive a manual motor vehicle in Queensland.
Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
Must be eligible and willing to obtain on appointment, a positive notice Working with Children Blue Card.
Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
