Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as ‘The Food Bowl of Australia’ as around 25% of the total value of Victoria’s agricultural production is generated in this area.

Theatre Technical Officer x 2
Salary: $62,736.96 per annum pro rata

Part Time – Permanent (25hrs/wk)
The Theatre Technical Officer is responsible for assisting with technical operations in the Riverlinks complex of venues, primarily Riverlinks Eastbank and Riverlinks Westside. This includes stage operations, lighting, sound, audio visual, mechanist and wardrobe duties.
Applicants should have practical experience in use of theatre equipment, production of theatre performances and technical presentation of corporate events such as conferences and seminars.
The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts.
