Theatre Operators Intermediate

Riverside Theatres is a premier performing arts venue in Western Sydney. The staff at Riverside Theatres are passionate about bringing the very best the performing arts has to offer to audiences. The Technical Department prides itself on being a multi-skilled workforce where teamwork is essential to meet the demands of our yearly calendar. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our positive and dedicated Technical Team in the role of Lighting Technician / Lighting Operator (Casual position) and in the audio technician team, we are seeking an Audio Operator who will be work closely with the Technical Coordinators, Technical Team Leader and the Duty Technicians in the delivery of performances and events within the venue.

About the roles:

Lighting
The Lighting Technician/Lighting Operator will be working closely with the Technical Coordinators, Technical Team Leader and Duty Technicians in the delivery of performances and events within the venue. The successful candidate will have proven experience operating in a theatre environment in the discipline of Lighting.

Audio
The Audio Technician/Audio Operator will be working closely with the Technical Coordinators, Technical Team Leader and Duty Technicians in the delivery of performances and events within the venue. The successful candidate will have proven experience operating in a theatre environment in the discipline of Audio.

What’s on offer:
We are offering an attractive hourly rate from $27.63 per hour + 25% casual loading + penalties + 9.5% super.
