Your mission: To create memorable experiences for customers by ensuring the staging technical requirements are met for touring shows.
At Crown Perth memorable experiences are created when we work together. As a Theatre Head Technical Operator – Staging you will assist the Theatre Technical Manager with coordinating in-house staging resources, staff, technical requirements and rostering. You will act as a senior point of contact for the staging casual staff whilst consistently delivering a high quality of service and ensuring legal compliance and risk management are maintained.
Essential Criteria:
- Advanced Rigging ticket
- Tertiary Qualification in Staging / Technical Theatre or equivalent experience as a Mechanist and/or flyman
- Minimum 5 years’ senior technical staging experience
- Strong computer skills including high proficiency in Excel
- Ability to analyse problems, troubleshoot and identify and implement appropriate solutions
- Demonstrate staff supervision skills including recruitment and selection, induction, performance evaluation and discipline.
- Organisational ability including time management, task prioritisation and resource scheduling.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Criteria:
- Forklift and EWP License
- Experience in the use of CAD design
