Theatre and Venue Operations Technician

We are seeking a technician, capable of installing and operating a wide range of vision, audio, staging, IT and lighting technologies. This role encompass the setup, operation, pack down,
repair and maintenance of these technologies and equipment for high-profile and community presentations and events. The position requires interaction with all clients and stakeholders with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications, Competency and Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in technical theatre and events to include Audio;
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an operator across a wide range of events
Competency with Digico SD9 and Soundcraft Performer preferred
Moderate to advanced computer skills (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and QLAB)
Australian Drivers Licence – manual
You are required to provide written responses to the key selection criteria which is included with the position description.
