The Lucid Dream Collective, created and produced by Moment Factory, made its debut at Vivid Sydney 2025 as a feature installation in Martin Place. With this year’s theme, “Dream,” the festival invited audiences to imagine without limits – blending creativity, culture, and technology – an open call to imagine, create, and experience the world in new and inspiring ways.
Novatech was a proud technical partner for The Lucid Dream Collective, working closely with our team in Adelaide and the Moment Factory team in Montreal, Canada, during the pre-production phase, and then onsite in Sydney for the build and delivery. The creative team utilised our touchscreen and camera capture technology to engage with audiences by transforming their image into an AI-inspired dream state. This imagery was then projected onto the large-scale collage on a nearby building that saw collective dreaming with passers-by.
Novatech was honoured to work alongside Moment Factory to help deliver The Lucid Dream Collective and once again provide creative event technology deployed with highly creative content to enhance the human connection.
