Technology Operations Supervisor

The Adelaide Convention Centre sits proudly in the Riverbank Precinct, which is rapidly evolving to create a vibrant hub for Adelaide, incorporating new research, health and medical centres, educational institutions, sport, entertainment, convention and event facilities. A rare opportunity exists for a career minded audio visual professional to work with the best of Adelaide’s business, conferencing and banqueting events.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Audio Visual professional to join our team as a Technology Operations Supervisor, with a primary focus on the customer experience. As an experienced Technology Operations Supervisor, you will join our fast-paced team and work across our state-of-the-art venue. No two days will be the same and you will be instrumental in creating unforgettable experiences.

Key tasks & responsibilities include:

  • Lead technology services staff through comprehensive briefings, task allocation supervision and coaching;
  • Cross check event orders, crew rosters and venue set up and action any requests in a timely manner;
  • Provide technical services to high levels of quality and consistency:
  • Monitor and maintain AV production across all AV applications venue wide;
  • Customer centric and excellent customer service skills;
  • Delivering service standards and continuous improvement
  • Execution of hybrid and virtual events
  • Develop innovative product offerings in conjunction with leadership team

  • Able to work autonomously while leading and guiding others
  • Dedication and the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines
  • General knowledge across the key disciplines of Audio, Lighting and Vision
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Positive & proactive mindset
  • Flexibility in working hours, with after hours and weekend work
