An exceptional opportunity currently exists for experienced and highly motivated professionals within QPAC to apply for the casual role of Technician – Staging.
As a core member of the Staging team, you will be responsible for:
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Working within a team of technicians in multiple venues and in a high-pressure, hands-on team environment.
• Under limited supervision, setting up, operating and maintaining production equipment, control systems, scenery and rigging in a live theatre environment to the highest standards.
To be successful for the role, you will have demonstrated ability to interpret technical requirements, ideally within a multi-venue theatre centre within the performing arts industry.
The hours of work will be primarily theatre-based with some maintenance work. Availability will be required for day, evening and weekend hours and for extended periods to service hirers’ schedules.
