Salary Range: $72,889 – $78,177 (PN: 3602, several)
The Canberra Theatre Centre, Australia’s first performing arts centre, is recruiting Technicians to join its technical department. Located centrally in Civic Square, the Canberra Theatre Centre is the focal point for performing arts in Canberra, providing the city and surrounding regions with a diverse selection of world class performing arts and entertainment.
The technical department delivers front line production services to presenters and hirers at the Canberra Theatre Centre across Staging, Lighting, and Sound and AV.
As a technician, you will contribute to the realisation of productions at the Canberra Theatre Centre. Working as part of a team, you’ll provide hands-on, professional technical services to venue hirers and other Canberra Theatre Centre users, this may include the bump in and bump out of technical equipment, performing cues or scenery moves during productions and rehearsals, providing programming and fault-finding services to clients, and contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of Canberra Theatre Centre assets. ?????
Note: The position is offered as Full Time (38 hours) or Part Time (30 hours). Full time salary noted above with be paid pro rata for part time roles.
