Technical Trade Assistant

About the Role

Novatech is seeking a Technical Trade Assistant to join the Technical Services Department based at our head office in Underdale, SA.

In this role you will be responsible for daily repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of AV equipment, as well as the maintenance and upkeep of site facilities as required.

About You

You will be a proactive team member who is handy on the tools and able to follow detailed instructions. You will be a quick and enthusiastic learner in our fast-paced environment and take pride in the quality of work and service you provide our technical teams.

We are a close-knit team where reliability and consistency is key. As we are a 24/7 business, you’ll be available to pick up work that may be out of hours, on weekends or public holidays as required.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a hands-on labouring position or similar
  • A current SA drivers licence as well as a Construction Induction Card, or demonstrated progress toward obtaining both
  • Trade qualifications are not a pre-requisite, however exposure to woodwork, metal work, carpentry or a related trade would be an advantage.

    Steel Capped Boots and black shorts/pants. Uniform shirt will be provided
