An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our positive and dedicated Technical Team in the role of Technical Team Leader.
You will be working closely with the Technical Coordinator and Operations Manager to deliver performances and events as well as providing leadership to a team of casual theatre technical staff. Your main role will be to provide professional and customer focused technical services to the venue’s key stakeholders. You will be instrumental in the planning of performances including budgeting, staff rosters and coordinating the activities of casual staff to ensure the highest standards of delivery.
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess:
Tertiary or other technical qualifications relevant to live theatre / events or experience in a multi-venue live theatre environment
Proven experience in lighting, sound and stagecraft
Proven experience in coordinating, rostering and leading staff in a multi task environment
Sound knowledge of Work, Health and Safety legislation
Knowledge of computers and financial, word processing and spread sheeting software
Excellent communication skills
