With an enviable reputation for providing innovative audio, lighting and staging solutions and support to their clients, the Technical Systems team is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Support Specialist to respond to technical queries from dealers and end-users.
About the Role
The Technical Support Specialist shall, ensure total customer satisfaction by responding to technical queries regarding products distributed by the company and assist with pre and post-sales engineering support, design and documentation for all internal and external stakeholders of Jands. Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Answer technical queries from our dealer base and/or end-users received via telephone or email,
- Direct general enquiries into channels appropriate to handle them, maintaining the flow of technical support and system designs.
- promptly responding to and following up complaints and enquires received via telephone or email;
- Manage the correspondence with any internal or external stakeholders relating to technical matters associated with their requests.
- Participate in in-house training as well as ongoing education that may be required.
- Assist with Project designs as required.
About you
To be considered for this position applicants should meet the essential criteria listed below:
- Sound knowledge of professional audio and lighting products and their applications.
- Advanced communication skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Ability to problem solve in situations where only limited standardisation exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Understands the value of clients to a company with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Pronto Enterprise Management System and Salesforce CRM System.
- Unyielding desire to deliver total customer satisfaction.
