About the role
The position assists in coordinating the Technical Service Teams activities to deliver audio, lighting, vision and other event services for events.
The role is focussed on liaising with customers, providing them with information, quotations and guidance on the most effective way that Technical Services can either facilitate or enhance their event.
About the team
The Technical Services Team are responsible for the creation of an events ambiance and atmosphere, facilitation of performances and concerts, and providing both a visual and aural experience through the application of audio, lighting, visual, and effects to meet each individual event’s needs.
Criteria / skills
The successful candidate will have relevant industry experience (2 years or more), in a supervisory or senior position in Technical Services or Production for events, concerts, performance or live entertainment.
They will have experience managing technical equipment, and be able to demonstrate their ability in live audio mixing, vision systems operation and / or Lighting operation to an appropriate industry standard.
They will have gained a solid understanding of key issues and trends in the audio visual industry.
They will possess strong communication skills; a drive to deliver exceptional customer service; and will take initiative to resolve issues, identify process improvements and enhance the customer experience.
They will also have excellent time management skills; be able to manage competing priorities; and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenge and change.
