About the role
The Technical Resources Coordinator – Lighting is responsible for the effective day-to-day operations, rostering of casual technical, venue support staff and the maintenance program relating to technical resources. This includes the induction, demonstration and explanation of techniques, materials and printing processes relevant to contemporary art practice.
About you
You will have a degree or equivalent relevant work experience, extensive experience operating lighting equipment for performance and troubleshooting technical issues in complex lighting system installations and experience programming and operating lighting consoles and DMX protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation are also required.
This is a fixed term, part time (0.6 FTE) position based at the Southbank campus in the heart of Melbourne’s art precinct.
