An opportunity now exists for an energetic professional with technical production and events experience to join the team at the Logan Entertainment Centre.
Working under guidance, the Technical & Production Supervisor will support the Technical Production Coordinator in the daily running of the department including production planning, rostering, equipment maintenance, venue set up and operation.
The role is varied, with administrative and hands on components.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven history in successful event delivery with experience in either the performing arts or entertainment industries.
Experience in scheduling and on site management of an event or performance is essential for success.
The position requires basic knowledge of theatrical lighting, audio, AV and stage management (Specialist skills and operator experience in either Lighting or Audio Visual would be highly desirable).
As this role is pivotal to the continued success of our Community Venues, specifically the Logan Entertainment Centre, you will need effective communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a small team environment, have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft applications and the ability to work flexible hours (potentially 3 days per week or more dependant on venue activity and individual skills).
