resX seeks the services of an experienced Technical Production Manager to join the team for the planning and installation of an exciting large-scale outdoor event coming to Melbourne in 2024.
This role will oversee the new equipment onboarding, technical planning, staffing and client liaison of this Australian premier that sports well in excess of 2000 lighting fixtures.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in outdoor events, a technical aptitude in lighting and rigging as well as a sound understanding of networking and control but most of all we seek a people person who can get the best out of the technical team assigned to them to make this show a reality.
This contract role would run from mid-January to mid-June with further options for the role to be extended through 2024 or ongoing full-time for the right applicant.
Generous hourly rates, based on skills and previous experience you bring are on offer as well as an opportunity to work with brand new equipment in a state-of-the-art production.
While ideally, we seek a Melbourne-based applicant, we will consider interstate applicants that are prepared to travel to Melbourne throughout the contract period.
