The City of Sydney is seeking an experienced Technical Production Coordinator to join the City’s Venue Management Team to provide advice and assistance to clients and staff regarding our technical services and facilities as well as managing staff and equipment.
Based in Sydney Town Hall and working as part of our Operations team, you will be responsible for the delivery of all our customer focused audio, lighting and production services in the City’s Venues, including Sydney Town Hall, Paddington Town Hall and the Barnet Long Room at Customs House.
We have a great range of sound and lighting equipment and a busy event calendar with a wide range of events, including concerts, corporate events and exhibitions.

To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge in:
• technical production including operation of sound, AV and lighting services within a multi purpose performance venue such as the Sydney Town Hall
• customer relationship management
• managing staff and allocation of resources
Flexibility is required as this position may require weekend and evening work depending on the venue’s operational needs.
