With a busy upcoming event schedule Crown Perth’s Theatre is recruiting additional skilled crew within our Staging team. Due to the busy nature of our Theatre department we have casual positions available for Technical Operators within the Staging department. The main responsibilities of this role will be to work with the Theatre Head Technical Operator – Staging to bump in, install, maintain, operate and bump out Theatre staging elements and systems.
Essential Criteria:
- Working at Heights certificate, EWP and White Card
- Willingness to work outside of normal work business hours
- Technical staging experience with an emphasis on Theatre staging and/or Manual flying
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to analyse problems, identify and implement appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work under direction as well as unsupervised
- Knowledge of and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety
- Organisational skills including time management, task prioritization and resource scheduling
Preferred Criteria:
- Relevant certificate qualification (WAAPA or equivalent)
- Fork lift licence
- Experience with a Theatre Flying Systems
