At Crown Perth memorable experiences are created by being passionate and working together. With a busy upcoming event schedule Crown Perth’s Theatre is recruiting additional skilled crew within our Staging team. Due to the busy nature of our Theatre department we have casual positions available for Technical Operators within the Staging field. The main responsibilities of this role will be to work with the Theatre Head Operator – Staging through the manual handling and lifting of equipment during the bump in and bump out of shows as well as in show mode.
Essential Criteria:
- Working at Heights certificate, EWP and White Card
- Willingness to work outside of normal work business hours
- Technical staging experience with an emphasis on Theatre stage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to analyse problems, identify and implement appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated abiliy to work under direction as well as unsupervised
- Knowledge and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety
- Organisational skills including time management, task prioritization and resource scheduling
Preferred Criteria:
- Relevant certificate qualification (WAAPA or equivalent)
- Fork lift licence
