About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Operations Manager to join our professional and dynamic technical team. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional technical services for events and performances hosted in our indoor venues such as the Sydney Town Hall.

You’ll be responsible for the day to day management of the technical operational team and technical equipment, coordinating technical workforce planning, staff scheduling, training and recruitment for the roles directly reporting to this position, and developing, managing and maintaining key event documentation in relation to technical services.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • tertiary Qualifications in event technical/production management or the ability to demonstrate significant experience in the successful delivery of live events, production management, technical operations, and support for a large venue or festival style events
  • experience managing technical equipment for a high profile performance venue or production company, including asset management and maintenance schedules
  • strong computer literacy skills and experience across both standard and specialist software such as Vectorworks, MS Teams, Microsoft Office and event management software such as Momentus.
