The Technical Manager position sits within the Technical Team at Brisbane Festival. This position is responsible for delivering the technical requirements for the productions and events within the site or venue delegated by the Technical Director. This role will be required to communicate extensively with the Brisbane Festival Technical and Programming teams, venues, suppliers and touring companies to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
This role will suit an organised person that works effectively individually and communicates successfully in a team. You would have industry knowledge and experience to bring to the team, as well as a willingness to learn quickly on the job.

A fast learner willing to adapt to a proven system of production and technical delivery
Knowledge of industry trends, technology and best practice.
Desirable
Forklift, EWP Tickets
Computer skills for Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and CAD drafting including Vectorworks
Demonstrated use and understanding of a database system, or the capacity to quickly obtain these skills.
Experience in a festival environment.
