Technical Manager

The Melbourne International Arts Festival are on the look out for an enthusiastic and experience Technical Manager to going to team and help deliver on of the leading international arts festivals.

Reporting to the Head of Programming & Production, the Technical Manager is a key member of the Programming & Production department, a relatively small full-time team which grows as required for each year’s festival. The Programming & Production department is responsible for coordinating the planning, evaluation, development, negotiation and contracting of the festival program and for executing all production elements of the festival and related events.

The Technical Manager works closely with their team in planning, budgeting, implementing, and reporting on each year’s festival. The Technical Manager leads a team of production staff working in multiple venues to deliver the annual festival at a high production value, safely, and within budgets.
