About the role
Brightside Live’ is seeking an experienced Technical Event Manager to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA. As a full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of our high-profile events, ensuring flawless execution and delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the technical production and logistics for Brightside Live’ events, including audio, lighting, staging, and audiovisual requirements
- Collaborate with the event planning team to develop and implement technical event plans
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to coordinate technical elements
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events
- Supervise and mentor a team of technical event specialists
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the technical aspects of our events
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical event management role
- Demonstrated expertise in event production, including audio, lighting, staging, and audiovisual systems
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in CAD software such as VectorWorks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with stakeholders
- Proficient in using event management software and technical equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in event management, technical production, or a related field
