Audio Visual Events is seeking an experienced Technical Director (TD) to join our team, servicing the AV and corporate events market in Sydney and across Australia. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in live events, including audio, vision, lighting, and rigging. Experience in managing the technical aspects of events, from quoting and pre-production through to show calling, direction, and on-site delivery, is essential.
With Sydney’s widest selection of high-end AV equipment and a broad client base, no two days are the same. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology from top brands and our dedicated team of Account Managers and Technicians to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Proficiency in Vectorworks/Spotlight/ConnectCAD, and experience with production design, floor plans, and technical schematics are essential. A current driver’s licence is required, and any additional industry licences (EWP, Forklift, Rigging, Heavy Vehicle) will be highly regarded.
