Technical & Customer Support Co-ordinator, CC’s Light & Sound, Port Melbourne – POSITION FILLED

CC’s Light & Sound is a market leader in the sales of pro audio and lighting equipment to the entertainment and presentation industries.
We are currently seeking a bright and highly motivated Technical & Customer Support Co-ordinator to join our Port Melbourne team.  This is a full time position.
This position is suited to an “all rounder” who has strong focus on providing customer service and sales support, technical service, as well as assisting with the running of our warehouse.
Key Duties:
Customer Service:
Helping customers with audio/lighting questions and providing demonstrations.
Providing quotes and recommendations.
Answering product information requests – in person, on the phone or on line.
Processing orders and sales.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to customers and sales team.
Work with suppliers regarding technical questions and warranty repairs.
Process and administer warranty repairs and general service works on the products we sell.
Secondhand equipment appraisals, processing, re-conditioning and maintenance.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of pro audio and lighting projects.
Warehouse Support:
Assist with the running and maintenance of our warehouse including inward and outward goods.
Qualifications and Experience:
Technically minded with an electronics/electrical background.  Training to Certificate 3 or 4 (or similar) will be well regarded.
Demonstrated experience as an audio/lighting service technician.
Able to use hand tools, solder and make repairs and refurbish equipment.
Knowledge and experience in the operation of sound reinforcement and stage lighting systems including software driven systems.
Experienced in fault finding, repairing and maintaining pro audio and lighting equipment.
Test & Tag Licence.
Experienced in warehouse duties, including inward/outward goods and general stock control. Some heavy lifting involved.
Computer knowledge with the ability to maintain accurate job records and maintenance of warranty repair system.  Knowledge of common software programs for audio recording and lighting control.
Some experience in the installation and commissioning of pro audio and lighting projects.
Excellent customer service skills, including a professional telephone manner and the ability to focus on customer needs in a commercial manner.
Full Driver’s Licence with good driving record.
Forklift Licence.
