About the Position
The Bowl season 2014/2015 is shaping up as a sensational summer of diverse shows. Alongside the regular favourites such as Carols by Candlelight and Opera at the Bowl, we are excited to be bringing some big name shows and family events to one of Melbourne’s best loved outdoor venues to celebrate the summer!
This role reports directly to the SMMB Manager and will coordinate the technical delivery of events at the venue working closely with Production managers, Staff and Presenters to ensure events run safely and efficiently.
The Technical Coordinator – SMMB will be engaged in pre-event planning and scheduling, venue technical preparation and event delivery, overseeing of Arts Centre Melbourne production staff, liaison with presenter technical staff and actively contributing to event safety and improvements to operations at the SMMB.
To deliver a successful summer program, you will need to apply your broad knowledge of production technical disciplines and technologies, awareness of OH&S requirements, strong service ethic and problem solving abilities. Your ability to deliver under pressure will see you thrive in this busy and hands-on role!
