The Opportunity
Monash University Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) is seeking to appoint an outstanding Technical Coordinator to provide creative and technical assistance to MAPA’s venues and programs for a period of six months commencing in October 2016.
The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of high quality and efficient services within the technical service team by overseeing and carrying out training, providing expert technical support for events and provide technical operations support including stage mechanics, lighting and audio, on events as required.
You will have an extensive technical production and experience within professional theatre, music, festival or venue industry and have the ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. Experience using EBMS event management software, or similar package, is desirable.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
