We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated professional to fill the role of Technical Coordinator at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre.

- Remuneration of $2,754.00 gross per fortnight + superannuation
Your new role:
This position provides the opportunity for someone experienced and well organised to coordinate all technical and production aspects of our 491 seat Performing Arts Centre, supporting the presentation of a diverse range of high quality performances and programs including theatre, dance, live music, comedy, cabaret, outdoor and corporate events.
As the Technical Coordinator, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership, coordination and supervision of Civic Theatre technicians;
- Draw, read, interpret and prepare technical event documentation including briefing documents and technical specifications;
- Maintain all technical and stage equipment in accordance with relevant industry standards; and
- Work in partnership with other staff to deliver high quality customer service to all Civic Theatre clients.
What you will need to succeed:
The successful applicant will have extensive production and technical experience, and a highly developed understanding of stagecraft and work health and safety principles and regulations. Highly developed administration, communication, interpersonal, time management and organisational skills are essential.
