Commencing on or before Term 3, 2023 this role will suit an experienced Technical Assistant accomplished in the provision of lighting, sound, vision, rigging system and venue operations support.

You will apply your audio-visual (AV), digital production, technical and theatre operations experience to support with Performing Arts productions and technical service across the College.
You will bring:
- Experience operating digital sound and lighting consoles in a live theatre environment
- Knowledge of Allen and Heath SQ consoles.
- Ability to program and operate QLab, Grand MA2, Mantra lighting desk or similar system.
- Theatrical fly system rigging operator. Rigger’s ticket preferred or a willingness to attain such.
- Reliability and capacity to work flexible hours and duties.
- Competent organisational skills to effectively manage time, schedules, and conflicting priorities to meet deadlines and deliver quality service-focused outcomes.
- An enthusiasm for working with and advising young people in technical skills (AV).
- A Working with Children blue card.
- Proficiency in ‘office suite’ computer-based applications with particular skills in spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated ability to create job schedules to facilitate event technical requirements.
- Ability to perform standing and manual handling tasks including bending and lifting.
