The Role
As the Technical Assistant at The Cube, you will work closely with the Technical Coordinator, Team Leader and Events Officer to deliver a diverse range of theatre programs and events including dance, multi-media, film and special events, as well as in house and external events which all contribute to the venue’s diverse program.
The Technical Assistant is responsible for the provision of services and technical support to presenters and clients in order to meet production and conferencing requirements that comply with relevant technical and arts venue requirements. This role also includes the management, maintenance and security of all venue technical requirements of equipment including light and sound, as well as other relevant venue equipment.
This position is casual and hours will be allocated according to business needs over a calendar week, and may include weekends, evenings and day time work.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in performing arts venue operations, good communication skills, and a strong customer focus. Your organisational skills and proactive and motivated nature will see you succeed in this role.
