Along with our trademark courses in theatre and drama, we will offer a range of accredited Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma and Certificate III courses in performing arts.
We are now looking for a Technical and Production Manager to join our close-knit team on a permanent part-time basis for 3 days a week.
As a Technical and Production Manager, your core responsibilities will be to:
- Manage all technical aspects of the live production and provide technical services for students’ shows.
- Maintain and update all equipment required for live production (lights, projectors, LX/SX desks etc.)
- Produce, shoot and edit all video contents for social media, website, advertising and campaigns.
- Assist with production, editing, and distribution of students’ work.
- Provide training to tutors on the operation of any technical equipment.
- All other reasonable duties as directed.
- Professional interactions with colleagues, students, and external parties.
- Adhere to all ACA policies and procedures.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety policy and procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary Qualification in theatre, screen or media, production or technical operations.
- Excellent attention to details and a passion for delivering quality work of a high standard.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated drive and initiative with a proactive approach to work and willingness to undertake tasks outside of core remit.
- Good research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
