Supervisor/Crew Boss For Perth Staging Company

Statewide Staging Systems is currently looking for a supervisor/crew boss to join our team. This is a full time position.

We are a Perth based staging company specialising in supplying infrastructure (Staging, Ground Support Systems, Grandstands, Scaffolding) for the entertainment industry.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role to this, as well as the suitable worksafe tickets to accompany this experience.

We are looking for someone to come and be a bit of a all rounder not only running the crew out on site but also being involved in the complete process of managing jobs and projects. Please note this is a hands on position.

The skills and attributes we are looking for you to have are:

  • Entertainment Industry Experience with stage and ground supports
  • Good communication skills
  • A good can do attitude
  • Able to run a crew of workers
  • Be computer literate
  • Must be mature and reliable
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Drivers License and own Vehicle
  • Riggers Ticket
  • Someone who can show initiative
  • Good eye for detail Physically fit

Tickets and skills that are preferable but not essential:

  • Intermediate/Advanced Rigging ticket
  • Scaffold ticket
  • EWP and Forklift ticket
  • Flex Rental Solutions Stock Control Software Experience (or similar)
  • CAD drawing experience
  • production experience
  • HR truck license
  • Senior first aid ticket

The general tasks that you would be preforming as part of this role would be:

  • Liaise with client from initial contact until job is complete
  • Quoting
  • Creating packing lists to prepare equipment within warehouse
  • Organizing and booking crew
  • Meeting with clients on site for meetings and site markups
  • Running crew on site
  • Construction and dismantle of product on site
  • Training of new staff members

This is a full time position on offer and pay conditions will be Dependant on relative skills and experience.

You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and provide police clearance.
