Frankston Arts Centre Position Vacant Supervising Technician (Full Time) An excellent opportunity exists at The Frankston Arts Centre for a suitably qualified theatre practitioner to fill the following position; Supervising Technician (Full Time): A broad knowledge of technical skills in lighting, audio and staging is required. Ability to supervise and be part of a team is essential. Flexible work hours including weekend work required. A strong operational knowledge of live audio and digital mixing consoles will be an advantage.
Selection Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in the theatre industry
Licence requirements – EWP, Intermediate Rigging, Electrical Test & Tag Level 2 Workplace First Aid In depth knowledge of OH&S legislation and practises
Strong practical audio knowledge, demonstrated technical understanding and knowledge of safe theatrical staging, lighting, rigging and flying operation and maintenance
Demonstrated ability and experience of supervising, leading and participating as part of a highly effective team
