We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Supervising Technician to provide a high-level quality audio-visual service throughout Boroondara venues.
This role ensures expert technical support for meetings and events and reliable day to day operations and maintenance of AV systems.
Key Responsibilities/About you/ What you will bring
· Strong technical expertise in: Allen and Heath audio consoles, GrandMA lighting console, Atem Mini mixers.
Hybrid delivery experience
· Lead setup, pack down, and operation of audio, lighting, and video equipment
· Supervise and mentor AV support staff and contractors to ensure efficient and safe workflows.
· Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and equipment troubleshooting.
· Collaborate with event coordinators, and clients to meet their technical requirements and achieve smooth delivery.
· Troubleshoot issues in real time with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
About You:
· Proven experience in professional audio visual environments (corporate, live event, entertainment venue, or similar).
· Strong understanding of signal flow, mixing consoles, projection, LED displays, cameras, and control systems.
· Confident communicator who can guide others and work with diverse stakeholders.
· Organized, reliable, and able to stay composed when deadlines are tight.
· Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
