About the role
Councils Arts & Culture Department is looking for 2 Supervising Technicians who will be responsible for the professional technical leadership and timely delivery of technical elements for events, functions and venues supported by Arts & Culture.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the professional delivery of events across the Frankston Arts Precinct.
- Providing high quality technical service, high quality customer service and a safe, welcoming onstage environment
for Council, Staff and Presenters. - Ensuring a high standard of presentation and safety of Arts & Culture venues, functions and events.
About you
As the preferred candidate, you will bring to the team;
- An ability and experience in supervising, leading and participating as part of a highly effective team.
- Staff and client supervision experience within a high pressure events environment.
- Technical understanding of safe theatrical staging, lighting, audio, rigging and flying operation and maintenance.
- Strong practical working knowledge of back of house duties and requirements.
- Experience in supervising event delivery.

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated between $74,260 to $85,300 per annum, plus superannuation.
