We are looking for a Store-person to join our expanding Victorian Branch in Port Melbourne that is team-orientated and has experience in warehousing and logistics. An understanding of computer/office programs and warehouse functions is necessary.
Attitude and aptitude are important, and you must be willing to be part of an established team. Training on the job will be provided to the right applicant.
Responsibilities:
Receiving and despatching of goods
Accurate picking and packing of goods
Inventory control
Loading & unloading of freight trucks and containers
Manual Handling and heavy lifting involved
Forklift work
General housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse
Ensure all stock is labelled and clearly identified
Conduct annual stocktakes
Essentials:
Onsite position. Business hours 9:00 to 5:30
Willingness to work within a team
Goes above all else to ensure the success of the operation
Very organised and self-motivated
Has attention to detail
A person who can work to a solution under pressure
Experience with a similar role
Must have a Forklift and Drivers licence
