We are a small to medium-size business well established in the design and manufacture of innovative lighting and power control products. An Australian Design Award-winner with a base range of 40+ products we export worldwide. Our products are installed in some of the world’s largest opera houses, theatres, television studios and theme parks and we are one of the major suppliers of film dimming equipment worldwide. Manufactured onsite our product is highly regarded for its quality and reliability.
The job:-
- Receive incoming goods
- Breakdown deliveries and confirm receipts against purchase orders in our ERP computer system
- Store all raw materials, packing materials, components and final products
- Report potential stock shortages to Purchasing Manager
- Assist PM in planning and co-ordination of stocktakes
- Assist in process improvements
- Help pack and despatch raw materials for shipment to subcontractors
- Assist in packing and despatch during busy periods
You will need:-
- Previous experience in a stores/inward goods/despatch environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in a Windows computer environment and ERP systems
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- A Victorian Drivers Licence and Forklift Licence
- Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment a definite advantage
