SSL To Unveil Significant Enhancements To 360° Platform

In addition to its range of DAW and plugin controllers, the company will also be featuring its new multi-channel microphone preamp/interfaces, the flagship Live L650 console, and more.

Solid State Logic (booth 18301) announced that it will unveil a significant update to its SSL 360° software platform — specifically, enhancements to the capabilities of the UC1 controller — during the 2024 NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center beginning on January 25.

In addition to its range of DAW and plugin controllers, SSL will also be featuring its new multi-channel microphone preamp/interfaces, PUREDRIVE QUAD and OCTO, both of which are making their NAMM debut. Both units have three distinct drive modes, a suite of I/O, and an integrated USB interface. The ORIGIN 16 in-line analog console will also be on hand, coupled with a UF8 controller to illustrate an integrated hybrid music production package.

Rounding off the Audio Creation Products will be THE BUS +, FUSION, BiG SiX, and range of USB audio interfaces, all of which will be on display for demonstration. And, the company will present the global debut of SSL Recording Pack, which includes an SMC 80 microphone and shock mount, SHP 80 headphones, and an XLR cable bundled with either an SSL 2 or SSL 2+ audio interface.

“The NAMM Show provides an opportunity for us to engage with the heart and soul of our music and audio production user base, as well as friends and partners within the audio community,” says Nigel Beaumont, managing director, SSL. “2024 will see SSL breaking new ground in software development, delivering powerful new features and workflows for our SSL Live and System T digital production platforms, in addition to expanding our audio creation product portfolio. We look forward to seeing all of our friends at NAMM 2024.”

On the live sound side of the equation, the company will also be demonstrating its flagship L650 console and latest software as well as a selection of network I/O. And, SSL will be teaming up with PMC (booth 1509) to showcase the latest developments within immersive audio and Dolby Atmos production technology utilizing PMC’s high-resolution 9.1.4 monitoring with PMC8-2 XBDs and ci45s coupled with SSL’s System T for Music digital production platform. Demo slots are limited and advance registration is recommended.
