Audio Visual Engineering AVE is a solutions provider for all aspects of Professional Sound & Lighting. Due to continued growth AVE is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Electronics Technician.
About the role.
Some of the duties will include but are not limited to;
Hardware and software faults and upgrades.
Bench repairs on a variety of commercial equipment including Smoke Machines Strobes Amplifiers and Speakers.
Circuit Board and Wiring Fault Finding.
General production support including batch modifications.
Parts ordering and forecasting.
What do we require from you?
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Audio Visual Electronics.
Must have experience in repairing audio and DMX lighting devices.
A good understanding of systems functionality and be able to manage own workload.
Be able to fault find.
Ability to read schematics.
Component level testing and repairing of Electronic circuits
Be well organised with a high level of customer service skills.
Able to problem solve a range of repair related issues in the required time frame.
Have attention to detail and ability to multi-task
The position is available in the Dandenong South area Melbourne.
Police clearance and medical check up’s will form part of the recruitment process.
