Salary: $61,845 – $65,553 per annum
Enterprise agreement: salaried staff
Spread of hours: Temporary role available for 12 months, 38 hours per week. 7 day span of work with time in lieu during busy periods, variable hours.
Mandatory Qualifications, Certificates or Licenses: Certificate IV or Diploma in Live Production, Theatre and Events (Technical Operations), OR a previous equivalent accredited course, or significant equivalent experience.
Reporting to the Manager, Sutherland Entertainment Centre, the purpose of this position is to control and co-ordinate the technical operations of the Sutherland Entertainment Centre, liaising closely with clients prior to and during their event to ensure their needs are satisfied in a courteous and professional manner. Act in a hands-on capacity operating sound and lighting equipment to ensure the professional presentation of performances and events staged at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre. Ensure that the Sound and Lighting systems are in good working order, maintain and improve equiemtn within the confines of a limited budget and supervise and lead a team of casual, contract, hirer and trainee technicians and stage crew.
