Dicker Data, an Australian-owned and operated distributor of IT products, has announced a new partnership with Shure. Effective immediately, Dicker Data will distribute Shure’s full range of professional audio conferencing and collaboration products across Australia and New Zealand.
Eric Ong, sales director – Southeast Asia and Pacific at Shure, believes the agreement will broaden access to the manufacturer’s audio solutions and services, allowing the brand to reach more customers looking to improve their communication tools in collaboration spaces. “We are committed to delivering exceptional value and transformative experiences through our audio technology,” said Ong.
The alliance marks an expansion of Dicker Data’s professional AV division. “The success of our pro AV division has been built largely around video and collaboration products; however, we are seeing increased demand for professional audio solutions, particularly high-grade microphones, which deliver more accurate audio,” explained Vlad Mitnovetski, executive director and chief operating officer of Dicker Data. “Furthermore, we are seeing the convergence of the professional audio ecosystem with our technology ecosystem, with partners becoming increasingly involved in supplying, deploying and managing professional audio solutions for businesses and production houses alike.”
The key products being distributed include Shure’s IntelliMix Room Kits for Microsoft Teams Rooms and the MXA902 + ANIUSB-MATRIX Audio Conferencing Kit. “We’re excited to offer our ANZ customers an expanded product range, including the IntelliMix Room Kit, through our partnership with Dicker Data,” said Jayme Quah, senior sales manager at Shure. “Our expanded product lineup ensures that users benefit from the latest innovations, such as seamless connectivity and superior communication tools, empowering them to achieve greater efficiency and success.”
