“They have a great colour temperature which is so very close to incandescent that people do not believe that they are LED fixtures,” he added. “They have a great output, in fact they are the brightest LED profiles I have ever seen. They are so bright that the first show we used them on asked us to run them at 40% intensity! Also, the refresh rate can be selected to avoid camera flicker which is great.”
Athol remarked that the single channel version allows him to use the same simple control desk he uses to run dimmers.
