Show Production Assistant

Pico Play is a global leader in the design and construction of world-class attractions for theme parks, water parks, nature parks and other attractions.

Pico Play is looking for a passionate and motivated industry professional to join its growing team that is currently delivering more than 15 attraction projects in 8 countries.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • To interpret and communicate creative direction of project to all stakeholders and vendors.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of technical planning & programming for attractions.
  • Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment and interactive displays.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and suppliers to ensure seamless installation, testing and commissioning of all technology-driven attractions.
  • Assist in the procurement and inventory management of technical equipment and supplies.
  • Provide on-site support ensuring smooth operation of all project installations.
  • Assists in the creative development and implementation of multimedia content for attractions.
  • Provides administrative support explaining the functionality of all technical activations within attractions including standard operating procedures and safety documentation.
  • Create project BOQ and equipment lists.
  • Assist with the training of staff and attraction handover.


Skills and qualifications: 

  • A degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Multimedia Technology, Audiovisual Production, or Entertainment Technology. (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in handling audiovisual equipment and interactive display systems.
  • Ability to communicate creative objectives to vendors and suppliers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Knowledge of multimedia content creation and editing tools.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational skills to assist in project planning and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and provide on-site support.
