Show Control Technician

$28.26 per hour Part Time
Movie World, Oxenford Gold Coast

About the role:
Contribute to the magic of Movie World’s one of a kind shows and events! Working during day trade shows or night events you will provide full technical production support.

Duties:
• Setup, live show operation, alteration and pack down of technical equipment including cameras, lighting systems, audio systems and vision systems
• Driving of show vehicles
• Set show requirements according to specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance and stocktake of all technical systems and areas
• Display a thorough working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and Village Roadshow Theme Parks policies and procedures

Skills and Experience:
• Demonstrated experience as theatre of audiovisual crew in a live show environment essential
• Certificate IV in Live Production or equivalent desirable
• Elevated Work Platform / Forklift / Working at Heights Licenses desirable
• Audio, Video and Lighting experience highly regarded
• Must hold a current Australian drivers license
• Thorough knowledge of lighting, sound/Audio, Vision and stage management. Operating the grandMA2 lighting console highly regarded
• Available to work on any day including weekends and nights
