After years of global success with the Q-7 Wash, SGM has built on a great product and made it even better.
The Q-8 now boasts an output of 54,000 lumens.
With more than double the increase in output, the Q-8 can achieve an incredible light quality of 96 CRI and 98 TLCI. This is SGM’s first RGBW fixture to achieve this level of white reproduction when mixing all four LEDs.
Thanks to SGM’s brand new TruColor+™ technology, the Q-8’s exceptional quality output is now accompanied with equally exceptional colour rendition.
A great wash light for close distances and medium-throws, the Q-8’s light quality opens the door for a wide range of applications in different markets.
The Q-8 brings added value with our brand-new VersaPath™: a designer selectable algorithm for advanced control over colour transitions.
With SGM’s VersaPath™, Q-8 operators can emulate colour filters, mimic the colour path response of third-party RGB fixtures, and decide themselves which dominant prevails when moving from one colour to another.
The Q-8 implements two completely independent linear strobes, based on G-7 BeaSt’s LEDs. These powerful strobes are located at the top and bottom of the colour panel, rendering the Q8 able to deliver new effects, segment control, and eight controllable pixels.
In addition, the Q-8 includes a new dual-colour strobe, allowing for strobing in one colour and using an alternative background colour, simultaneously. Two different light sources, double strobe effect, twice the fun.
With an IP66 rating and a rock-solid head with an integrated dehumidifier, SGM has upgraded the long-lasting Q-7 into a dual-purpose workhorse.
