So, when the company was asked to provide and construct a special fire graph display for Channel 9’s the Voice Finale, they needed a quick solution. As a result Forch Foti, Managing Director of Foti Fireworks came to Showtools International to seek their advice on what was the best equipment to use for the structure required.
“I needed a fast solution for the structure as we needed it to be wheeled in and out within minutes, as it was to be used as a backdrop to Sam Perry’s performance,” stated Forch. “I also need the structure to be able to withstand the heat of the flames that is going to light it up.” After consulting with Showtools, Forch decided the go with the Eurotruss Truss System and acquired the HD31 Single Tubes.
“Based on the requirements of the graph backdrop, the Eurotruss HD31 single tubes were perfect for the job,” stated Forch. “The single tubes were used to form a clean thin frame making it ideal as it provided the necessary strength and was fast to put together granting us the efficiency we needed to bring the structure on and off the stage.” “In addition, the poles are lightweight and super sturdy making them robust and durable.”
The Eurotruss HD31 Single Tubes were used successfully in creating the fire graph backdrop to one of Voice Australia winner Sam Perry performances on the night. “The Eurotruss HD31 poles did the job as required in helping to light up the stage for Sam Perry, helping make the set a huge success” Forch concluded.
