Service & Warehouse Manager – Design Quintessence, Sydney

Service & Warehouse Manager

Design Quintessence is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of staging equipment in Australia and is expanding their head office operations in moving into much larger premises in Auburn, Sydney.

DQ has been representing several well known brands including Global Truss, Encore, VMB, Curtain Call and Sentinel for up to 10 years and have recently been appointed as Prolyft chain hoist distributors in Australia.

To support this latest addition to our range we are seeking a service manager for our new premises to offer inspection and servicing of the Prolyft chain hoists as well as service and repair of other key brands such as VMB Towerlifts and Encore road cases.

The role will be wide and varied as it will incorporate warehouse management in what will be the major distribution centre for our four locations.

Some fabrication is planned in the not too distant future which will ensure the role will provide even further variety and challenges.

Interstate travel will be required from time-to-time.

Warehouse operational experience is a must and industry experience in service and repair, particularly with chain hoists, will be looked upon very favourably. However, full training will be provided for the service and repair work.

A current driver’s licence with good driving record is also essential.

So if you’re looking for a role beyond warehousing, this could be the change you have been looking for.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and maturity.

Please send your application in the first instance to Ian Wood via email iwood@dq.com.au
