We are looking for a professional, motivated individual to join our Operations team as Service Technician in our Sydney headquarters. This is a full-time role reporting to the Operations Manager, which would best suit a friendly, willing-to-help team player who has the ability to operate in a fast-changing environment whilst maintaining quality customer service as a priority. A passion for electronics and experience with fault-finding is key to this role, on the job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
Knowledge of electronic circuit components
Ability to test diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical components in professional lighting equipment.
Assessing required repairs and producing quotations for customers.
Performing quality control checks.
Assist in Pre-delivery and testing of stock.
Stock management of spare parts within the service department.
Participation in rolling stocktakes.
Provide a high level of customer service and support to our customers and internal stakeholders.
Completing service reports and processing into our ‘Service Manager’ system.
Always ensuring compliance to legislative requirements, HSEMS and company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you must have these essential skills:
Passion and experience in electronics
Experience within the entertainment lighting industry is desirable.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A self-starter that is result driven.
Mature ‘Can Do’ attitude that works well as part of a team.
High attention to detail, with organisation and time management skills.
The ability to operate in a fast-changing environment.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to conduct manual heavy lifting as required.
