About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Production you will test, service and repair a range of electro-mechanical products for LSC Control Systems. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to test process design and testing regime development.
- Testing LSC manufactured products as part of the Quality Assurance process.
- Repairing customer-owned LSC equipment and Third-Party equipment distributed by LSC.
- Responding to and effectively resolving technical enquiries.
- Accurately maintaining the customer service request system, including management of ticketing.
- Reporting on product performance outcomes and trends of product defects and failures.
- Proactively maintaining our OH&S practices and behaviours.
About You
- Must have in-depth, relevant technical electronics knowledge, including several years’ experience as a repair technician for related products such as mobile phones or computers.
- Be able to confidently and effectively interact with other team members and customers about technical issues.
- Must hold a suitable electrical qualification, as servicing of 3-phase powered equipment forms part of the role.
- Demonstrate a patient, customer-focused approach including being able to establish a good rapport with customers and build their confidence.
- Be prepared to go the extra mile to solve a customer issue and not let “near enough be good enough”.
- Must be able to appreciate the customer’s perspective and the business need of any issue.
- Must have the ability to understand and communicate written and verbal instructions in English.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have intermediate skills in a Windows computer environment.
- Must be well-presented, well organised, an excellent communicator and team player.
- Must hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence
