We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Video Engineer. You must be experienced in working on mid to large-scale events and be competent at delivering to a high standard in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor venues across the UAE and Gulf States. You will be responsible for all elements of the show and carry this out in a professional and competent manner.
Key responsibilities and duties will include:
* Working from and interpreting detailed schematics, including preparation of equipment specifications, electrical calculations and configurations from drawings.
* Coordinating equipment show prep stage of a project at the Company’s warehouse facilities. Liaising with the Operations Department, in the completion of the show prep process.
* Excellent understanding of the technical requirements needed to deliver live video.
* Confidence in leading a team onsite.
* Ability to liaise with the client and colleagues in a professional and diplomatic nature.
* Liaising with the customer where necessary to source all relevant production details particular identifying exceptional requirements
Skills and attributes required:
* Previous experience in a similar role with a detailed knowledge of all aspects of video technology.
* Essential experience with projection, component systems and digital video systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Previous experience of supervising a team.
* Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office application.
* Good analytical and problem solving skills with the confidence to make critical decisions when necessary.
* Good working knowledge of HD Camera Systems, Widescreen Projection, Media Servers and Indoor / Outdoor LED screens for large scale corporate and public events.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task.
* Must display a positive and can do attitude both in the warehouse and on-site.
